Deadwood was founded in 2012 by Carl Ollson and Felix von Bahder who met working in a jeans shop together in Stockholm. Soon they would begin dreaming of creating a concept store of their own, that truly embodied their personalities and aesthetics. They wanted to create an antidote to everything that was wrong with the fashion industry. Said and done, Deadwood was born.
By using waste materials as their main source evolved naturally from their incorporation of vintage clothing with new garments in their first collection of leather jackets. Turning trash into treasure, so to speak, but in a more refined way.
At SCOPES, Deadwood will participate in a workshop and panel discussion together with RHĪZ and IGGY JEANS about upcycling and the creative process within fashion.
